By accessing or using TechAeros ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all policies incorporated by reference, including our License Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, buyers, sellers, and any other users of the Platform. You represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Platform.
The following terms are used throughout this document:
TechAeros is a digital marketplace for game development assets including 3D models, audio files, graphics, visual effects, animations, scripts, and related content — with a primary focus on the Roblox development community. The Platform acts as a facilitator of transactions between independent Sellers and Buyers. TechAeros is not the creator of any third-party Asset, does not endorse any particular Seller or product, and is not party to the agreement formed between Seller and Buyer upon purchase. Sellers — not TechAeros — are responsible for the quality, accuracy, legality, and fitness of their Assets.
You must create an account to buy or sell on TechAeros. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and keep it up to date. Accounts are for individual use only and may not be shared, sold, or transferred to another person. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension or to abuse any promotional feature. We reserve the right to verify your identity and to request additional information at any time.
When you purchase an Asset on TechAeros, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Asset under the terms applicable to the License tier you purchased (Standard, Commercial, or Developer). Purchasing an Asset does not transfer copyright ownership to you. The Seller retains all intellectual property rights in the Asset at all times.
All licenses on TechAeros are built on the Incorporated Asset principle: the Asset must be embedded into your End Product. You are licensing the right to use the Asset in your work — not the right to distribute, resell, or share the raw files. The specific permissions and restrictions for each License tier are described in detail on our License Terms page, which forms part of these Terms.
The TechAeros name, logo, interface design, and Platform code are the intellectual property of TechAeros and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.
All sales on TechAeros are for digital goods delivered electronically. Because digital files can be accessed immediately upon purchase, all sales are final — we do not offer refunds for purchases where the file has been downloaded or accessed. If a product materially does not match its description (e.g. files are corrupt, empty, or entirely different from what was advertised), contact us at support@techaeros.online within 7 days of purchase and we will investigate. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, technical incompatibility with your specific project setup, or dissatisfaction with artistic style after download.
Payments are processed by PayPal. By purchasing on TechAeros you agree to PayPal's terms of service. TechAeros retains a platform fee on each sale; the applicable percentage is shown in your seller dashboard. Fees are subject to change with at least 14 days' advance notice to active Sellers. TechAeros is not responsible for fees charged by PayPal or your financial institution.
Sellers are solely responsible for any taxes applicable to their earnings, including VAT, GST, income tax, or any other tax in their jurisdiction. TechAeros does not withhold or remit taxes on behalf of Sellers. All prices displayed on the Platform are in US Dollars unless otherwise stated. TechAeros shall not be liable for any currency conversion losses or bank fees incurred by Sellers or Buyers.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us in good faith to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your account and to contest the dispute. Fraudulent chargebacks on valid purchases constitute a breach of these Terms. If a chargeback results in a reversal of payment, TechAeros reserves the right to pursue recovery of the disputed amount through all available legal means. Always contact us first — we are responsive and aim to resolve genuine issues quickly.
Sellers are solely responsible for all Content they upload. By listing a product, you confirm that:
Misrepresenting a product or its rights is grounds for immediate removal of the listing and suspension of your account. TechAeros reserves the right to remove any Asset at any time without prior notice if we determine it may violate these Terms or applicable law.
You may not upload, sell, distribute, or engage in the following on the Platform:
TechAeros respects intellectual property rights. If you believe a listing infringes your copyright, send a written notice to support@techaeros.online including: (1) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (2) identification of the infringing material and its location on the Platform; (3) your contact information; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised; and (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will remove the content and notify the Seller. Sellers who believe their content was wrongly removed may submit a counter-notice to the same address. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
TechAeros offers an optional Roblox account verification feature. Linking your Roblox account is voluntary and requires completing a verification step on the Roblox platform. Each Roblox account may only be linked to one TechAeros account. A permanent audit log of all link and unlink events is retained for security purposes and cannot be deleted. You may unlink your Roblox account at any time from account settings.
Users may report listings, reviews, or accounts that violate these Terms using the report function on the Platform. We investigate all reports and reserve the right to remove content, issue warnings, suspend, or terminate accounts at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to disclose the outcome of a moderation review to the reporting party. Submitting false or bad-faith reports is itself a violation of these Terms and may result in account action.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TechAeros, its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, even if TechAeros has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to TechAeros in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TechAeros and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way related to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights; or (d) any Content you upload, sell, or distribute through the Platform.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to access or use the Platform ceases immediately and active listings will be removed. Licenses already granted to Buyers for previously purchased Assets remain valid following seller account termination. If you believe your account was suspended in error, contact us at support@techaeros.online and we will review your case. We are not obligated to restore any account.
TechAeros shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, power failures, internet or infrastructure outages, third-party service disruptions (including PayPal, Cloudflare, or hosting providers), or any other event that could not have been reasonably foreseen or prevented. In such events, our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the cause.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at the address below. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, you agree that it shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters involving intellectual property infringement or misappropriation.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and make reasonable efforts to notify active users of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Purchases made prior to any change in License Terms retain the license rights in effect at the time of purchase.
