License Terms

Last updated: May 26, 2026

Every asset purchased on TechAeros comes with a license that defines exactly how you can use it. The license type available for each product is shown on the product page before you buy.

The "Incorporated Asset" Rule — applies to all licenses

All TechAeros licenses are built on one core principle: a purchased asset must be incorporated (embedded and integrated) into your final product. You are licensing the right to use it in your work — not the right to distribute the file itself. Specifically:

  • →The asset is embedded inside your Roblox game, engine pack, or application.
  • →End-users or clients interact with the asset only through the finished product.
  • →The raw source files (FBX, OBJ, WAV, PNG, etc.) are never exposed, shared, or distributed.
  • →The asset cannot be extracted from the finished product and re-used by someone else.

Standard License

Included with every purchase
Base price

For creators building their own Roblox games and projects. Covers unlimited personal and commercial use across all projects you own — no per-project restrictions.

Key rule: The asset must be incorporated (embedded) into your game or project. You may not distribute the raw files.

✓ Allowed

  • ✓Use in any number of your own Roblox games and projects
  • ✓Use in monetised games — GamePasses, DevProducts, UGC items, paid access
  • ✓Modify, adapt, or customise the asset for your needs
  • ✓Earn Robux or real-money revenue from projects that include the asset
  • ✓Use personally for as long as you like — the license never expires

✗ Not Allowed

  • ✗Use in a game or project built for a paying client (requires Commercial License)
  • ✗Include in game starter kits, templates, or asset packs sold to other developers (requires Developer License)
  • ✗Redistribute, share, or resell the raw downloaded files in any form
  • ✗Claim authorship or original ownership of the asset

Commercial License

Available on select products
~3–5× base price— Exact price set by the seller

Everything in the Standard License, plus the right to use the asset in work you build for clients or employers. The delivered end-product is covered — the raw files are not.

Key rule: Your client receives the finished game or application. They do not receive the raw asset files, and they do not receive a separate license.

✓ Allowed

  • ✓Everything included in the Standard License
  • ✓Use in a project you are building for a paying client or employer
  • ✓Deliver the fully integrated end-product (the game) to your client
  • ✓Use in multiple client projects — no per-project limit

✗ Not Allowed

  • ✗Deliver or share the raw asset files with your client
  • ✗Include in redistributable game templates or asset packs sold to developers (requires Developer License)
  • ✗Sub-license or transfer the license to the client
  • ✗Redistribute or resell the raw files
  • ✗Claim authorship or original ownership of the asset

Developer License

Available on select products
~8–10× base price— Exact price set by the seller

The widest scope available. Includes everything in the Commercial License, plus the ability to incorporate the asset into game templates, starter kits, or engine packs that you sell to other developers.

Key rule: Buyers of your pack receive Standard License rights for that incorporated asset. The raw file itself must never be exposed or sold standalone.

✓ Allowed

  • ✓Everything included in the Commercial License
  • ✓Incorporate the asset into a game starter kit, template, or engine pack that you sell
  • ✓Sell that pack to other developers — they receive Standard License rights for the incorporated asset
  • ✓Use across an unlimited number of your own projects and client projects

✗ Not Allowed

  • ✗Sell or distribute the raw asset file by itself, outside a fully integrated product
  • ✗Grant buyers of your pack rights beyond the Standard License (they cannot resell or repackage the asset)
  • ✗Sub-license, resell, or transfer this Developer License to another person
  • ✗Claim authorship or original ownership of the asset

Custom Seller Licenses

Some sellers on TechAeros choose to write their own license terms instead of using one of the platform tiers above. This is fully permitted — as the copyright holders of their assets, sellers have the right to define their own usage conditions.

When you purchase a product with a custom license, the exact text of that license is attached to your purchase receipt and visible on your My Purchases page. The license you see there is a permanent snapshot — it reflects the terms that were in effect at the exact moment you bought the product. Even if the seller later changes the license, your snapshot is preserved.

Key rules that apply to all custom licenses:

→ Custom licenses are written by the individual seller — TechAeros does not review, endorse, or guarantee them. If a custom license is unclear or seems unreasonable, contact the seller before purchasing.

→ No custom license can grant rights that exceed what the seller themselves holds. A seller cannot license you rights they do not own (e.g. they cannot grant you rights over a third-party mesh they do not control).

→ Where a custom license is silent on a restriction, the most restrictive reasonable interpretation applies — e.g. no mention of client work means client work is not permitted.

→ Regardless of any custom license text, the core Incorporated Asset rule always applies: the asset must be embedded in your end product — you may never redistribute the raw downloaded files.

These license terms apply to all assets purchased through TechAeros. The license available for any given product is displayed on the product listing at time of purchase. Purchasing an asset grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license under the applicable tier — it does not transfer copyright ownership to you. TechAeros reserves the right to update these terms; purchases retain the license terms in effect at the time of purchase. For questions, contact support@techaeros.online.
