• Account information: your name, username, email address, and password. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
• Profile information: bio, avatar image, social media links, and — if you choose — your linked Roblox username.
• Transaction data: order history, products purchased, purchase amounts, and payment reference identifiers. We do not store your card or bank details — payments are handled by PayPal.
• Seller data: store name, product listings, and payout information.
• Usage data: pages visited, actions taken on the Platform, and basic browser and device information collected automatically when you interact with the Platform.
• Roblox data: if you link your Roblox account, we store your Roblox user ID, username, and a cached avatar image. An audit log of all link and unlink events is retained for security purposes.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Process purchases and facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers
• Display your public profile and store pages
• Send transactional notifications such as purchase confirmations and password reset emails

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not serve advertisements.

4. Cookies & Authentication

We use HTTP-only cookies to manage your login session. These cookies hold encrypted authentication tokens and are not accessible by JavaScript or third-party scripts. We use a short-lived access token and a longer-lived refresh token to keep you logged in securely. These are the only cookies we set. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to operate the Platform. These services process data on our behalf and are governed by their own privacy policies:

• PayPal — payment processing. Your payment details are handled directly by PayPal. We receive only a transaction reference and confirmation of payment.
• Cloud storage providers — we use secure cloud infrastructure to store product files, profile images, and store banners.
• Email delivery providers — used to send transactional emails such as purchase confirmations and password resets. We share only your email address and name for this purpose.
• Roblox Public API — used only when you choose to link your Roblox account, to verify your username and fetch your public avatar.

6. Public Information

Your username, display name, bio, avatar, store pages, product listings, and linked Roblox username (if verified) are visible to all visitors of the Platform. Do not include information in your public profile that you wish to keep private.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are kept for the period required by applicable law. Roblox link/unlink audit records are retained indefinitely for security purposes. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us — note that records we are legally required to keep cannot be deleted.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted password storage, secure HTTP-only authentication cookies, HTTPS-only communication, and server-side payment verification. 9. Children's Privacy

TechAeros is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
